FIELD NOTESWhy this view exists / what to try / what I learned
WHY

Compaction, moisture, dust, vibration. The four numbers an Engineer of Record audits. Without instrumentation the only defense in a dispute is anecdote, which is no defense at all.

WHAT TO TRY

Watch sensors tinted cat yellow or red. Those are in WATCH or ALARM state against their spec. The 30-point sparkline on each card shows the most recent drift. Click another site at the bottom to compare.

WHAT I LEARNED

Every sensor needs a spec attached. ASTM D6938 for density. Standard Proctor for compaction. EPA NAAQS for PM2.5. USBM RI 8507 for PPV. A number without a reference is noise. A number with a reference is evidence.

Density curves are the only honest receipt for compaction. The probe does not lie.
